A law firm in Nairobi, Onyango and Tarus Advicates, has placed 41 vehicles on auction, starting as low as Ksh131,000.
In a notice published in a local daily on Monday, September 22, the company urged interested buyers to bid for the vehicles before September 30.
They can also view the vehicles at several scrapyards countrywide before placing their bids.
Among these is the cheapest option, a 2001 Nissan Caravan van located at Leakeys Yard priced at Ksh131,000, followed by a Toyota Succeed at Joyland Yard valued at Ksh288,000.
A 2011 Nissan Note is also available at Joyland Yard at Ksh422,000, and a 2012 model of the same is available at Eezy Ruiru Yard for Ksh436,000.
Other cars under Ksh500,000 include a 2004 Toyota Premio at Eezy Ruiru Yard for Ksh450,000, a Volkswagen Golf at Jogoo Road Motors for Ksh400,000, a Nissan Advan at Integra Yard for Ksh450,000, and a Toyota Wish at Pamo Yard for Ksh470,000.
More options are a 2017 Daihatsu Boon at Valuers Yard Roasters, Nairobi, for Ksh743,000, a 2014 Toyota Vitz at Eezy Storage Yard Ruiru for Ksh673,000, and a 2015 Nissan Latio at Jogoo Road Motors for Ksh636,000.
For cars valued over a million shillings, a 2011 Audi Q7 is available for Ksh1.8 million at Naivasha Auto Storage Yard, a 2011 Toyota Fortuner at Eezy Storage Yard in Ruiru for Ksh1.2 million and a Toyota Hilux at Naivasha Investments Storage Yard for Ksh1.3 million.
A Ksh1.1 million BMW is available at Eezy Ruiru Yard, a Toyota Harrier at Remma Yard has been priced at Ksh1.2 million, a Toyota Hiace at Eldoret Supermax and another Toyota Crown Athlete at Grey Post Yard are available at Ksh1 million each.
On the most expensive end, a 2016 Audi Q7 is available at Jogoo Road Motors for Ksh5.4 million. A Toyota Land Cruiser is also available at the same yard, going for Ksh4.5 million.
Also available is a 2015 Toyota Hilux valued at Ksh3.4 million at Jagwood Motors in Kisumu, a Ksh3.5 million 2013 Tata LPT Truck at Jogoo Road Motors, and a 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser going for Ksh3 million at Eezy Ruiru Yard.
The vehicles will be sold on an "As Is Where Is" basis, and all bids should be submitted on www.eezycars.co.ke and any further inquiries should be made through the official email and contact numbers.
