NASA leader Raila Odinga has disclosed the one person who had been feeding him with secret information.
Odinga narrated how he used to receive information from former Homa Bay Senator Otieno Kajwang prior to his death in November 2014.
Speaking in Mbita Constituency, Odinga stated that the Senator warned him on several occasions and most of the things he disclosed to him came to pass.
For instance, the Opposition leader divulged that Kajwang' had cautioned him about a number of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MPs who were planning a rebellion but he (Odinga) ignored.
Several months down the line, the same came to happen when a number of MPs, especially from the Western and Coastal region, started leading a revolt and have since parted ways with the Opposition.
"Just a few days before Kajwang' died, we had a rally at Sikri with him where he told me that some of our MPs would betray us. But his prediction has come true because some of them have now decamped for the other side," he disclosed.
At the same time, Odinga recalled how the Senator used to protect him against attacks wishing that he was still alive to take on Jubilee politicians.
"Today, the National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale makes a lot of noise but Kajwang' was my soldier who could discipline him effectively," he affirmed.
The former Homa Bay Senator died three years ago due to what was described as a heart attack, with the vocal leader being replaced in the Senate by his younger brother Moses Kajwang'.
