The mutilated body of a Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Pastor was discovered buried next to his house on Thursday morning in Nyamira County.
Pastor Nicholas Kibagedi's decomposing head was discovered at 10 am before his torso was found 150 metres away 20 minutes later.
According to Kibagedi's wife Jeniffer, the 54-year old father of five walked out of their home on April 20th after receiving a call and headed towards Keroka Town on foot.
“He left as we were preparing for breakfast but did not return. I was worried and I called his two lines around noon but they were both off,” Jennifer stated.
Records showed that his phone's signal was last used at the Nyansiongo Market located a kilometre away from his home on that fateful day.
Police are investigating the matter.
