Kenya African National Union (KANU) aspirant for Kilifi Parliamentary seat, Anderson Kenga, has narrated how he was kidnapped by two women at a hotel in Mtwapa.
Mr Kenga on Tuesday recalled that he was having dinner with some colleagues at a restaurant in Mtwapa when the two women joined them at the table.
After having dinner and several drinks, they all decided to move to a different restaurant around Mtwapa in the company of the women.
The aspirant narrated after some time, he decided to head home but one of the women decided to drive claiming that he was too drunk to take the wheel.
"After several drinks, my colleagues left and I also decided to call it a night, but one of the women offered to drive the car, claiming I was drunk," Kenga narrated.
He added that in the vehicle, the women offered him a bottle of drinking water after which he blacked out.
I was awakened by villagers who knew me near Jumba ruins at around 2 am. I was still in the passenger seat in my car when the villagers came out. I did not know where I was and how I arrived there,” he divulged.
Kenga claimed that the abductors stole his phone, his ATM card, and National Identity Card.
He further disclosed that the women had sent text messages using his phone to some of his friends asking for Sh10000.
"One of my supporters in Ganze who received the message sent the money, but when they called the number, no one was picking up," Kenga noted.
The parliamentary hopeful stated that he had reported the matter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations at the Kilifi Police Headquarters, a claim area Police Commander, Alexander Makau, and Criminal Investigation Officer, John Ndung'u, denied
