Kenyans Attack Jubilee Administration for Corruption and Failing to Deliver

What was meant to be a week of celebrating Jubilee's achievements as the government deployed its troupes to more than 13 radio stations turned out to be a bad week in the office for Jubilee.

The move may not have achieved the desired results as Kenyans on Twitter and Facebook chose to focus on one thing that continues to haunt the Jubilee administration as it seeks a fresh mandate-Corruption.

A research conducted by a leading media house revealed that all topics were related to elections but corruption featured prominently with the majority of the tweets being negative. Only 4 percent of the tweets were positive.

Kenyans.co.ke sampled the following tweets relating to the subject.

The simmering tension between rival Jubilee politicians in Rift Valley and their supporters was not good news either. A section of the leaders led by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago threatened to sabotage Jubilee and support the opposition.

But all was not gloom for the Jubilee party. Two opinion polls released by Research firms Ipsos and Africa Electoral Observation Group (AEOG). However, National Super Alliance leaders and a section of Kenyans were quick to dismiss the findings, expressing confidence that Raila Odinga is in the lead and will win the August polls.
