Jubilee's Uhuru Kenyatta's Campaign Team Harassed and Heckled in Machakos By NASA Supporters

The Jubilee campaign brigade that raided Machakos County was treated to a rude shock as they attempted to sell President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid.

Only a handful of onlookers gathered by as the team, led by Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria, Amos Kimunya, Millicent Omanga, Isaac Mwaura, Kalembe Ndile and Agnes Kavindu made their way in a convoy.

Chants of National Super Alliance (NASA) filled the air as those in attendance resisted calls to respond in Jubilee party campaign slogans.

The visibly hostile and agitated crowd verbally harassed the team, at one time denying former Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya a chance to sell the Jubilee agenda.

Gesturing at the campaign team to go away, the crowd could hear none of what the Jubilee leaders had to say.

Masii and Chumvi areas were perhaps their worst experience as the handful crowd walked away with some gesturing them to go away and showing lack of interest in what was being said.

The frustrated Jubilee campaign team hurriedly left the area, accusing local politicians of hiring youths to harass them.

However, the reception at Mulu Mutisya grounds was slightly different. The sizeable crowd that gathered was orderly and gave the team ample time to sell their agenda.

Machakos County Woman Representative aspirant Agnes Kavindu even got a chance to launch her manifesto.
