KUCCPS Releases KMTC September 2025 Intake Results: How to Check

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released the placement results for applications to the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake.

In a statement released on Friday, July 18, KUCCPS urged applicants to log into the KUCCPS portal to check the status of their applications.

“Update: Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal to check,” KUCCPS stated.

This update follows the earlier announcement by KUCCPS regarding the opening of its portal for KMTC applications on June 24.

While inviting students for application, the placement service noted that the portal would remain open for the next two weeks, between June 23 and July 7.

In the notice, the placement service directed students seeking to apply for their preferred courses to do so through the KUCCPS portal or visit any Huduma centre across the country.

How to Check

1: To check the status of their application, students were advised to log into the KUCCPS portal: students.kuccps.net

2: Once an applicant accesses the portal, they will be prompted to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, KCSE year, and password 

Applicants should use the KCPE index number or birth certificate number for the password.

3: Once logged in, you should be able to view your placement status and see if you have been placed into a KMTC program.

According to KUCCPS, there were 36 available programmes, including both diploma and certificate courses. Notable courses open for application include a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery and a Diploma in Pharmacy.

Other diploma courses include Public Health, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Health Counselling, Health Promotion, Kenya Registered Nursing, Mortuary Science, and Optometry.

Certificate courses available for application include Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Medical Emergency Technician, Health Insurance Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
