2 University of Nairobi Students Murdered

The killing of two University of Nairobi students has sparked public outrage, after allegations emerged that the attack was organised.

Two students identified as Julius Omondi and Mohammed Yusuf were reportedly killed at the University halls of residence.

It is alleged that the two students were killed in a mob justice at hall 2, following accusations that they had stolen a laptop from a first year student, The Star reports.

However the matter has taken a different twist after accusations emerged that Students Organisation of Nairobi University (SONU) Chairman Babu Owino is behind the killings.

The flamboyant student leader has however distanced himself from the claims saying he does not even know the two students at a personal level.

The matter has seen Kenyans take to social media under the hashtag #UoNGangs to condemn the killings.
