Attendants in a court in Embu were left shocked on Wednesday as they heard the details of how two minors were defiled by a 63 year old man.
The minors aged 7 and 5 were defiled by John Njriru Njue at Kithimu village in Embu West Sub County.
According to Citizen Digital, the court heard that on the fateful day, Njue arrived home at 3 pm to find the two girls playing with his son.
He is said to have lured the girls into a maize plantation with the promise of giving them maize to roast.
Njue denied the defilement charges.
Senior Resident Magistrate Munene Githinji ordered his release on a bond of 100,000 shillings with a surety of similar amount.
The case will be heard on August 16th, 2015.
