Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi on Sunday revealed that Kalonzo Musyoka would sabotage National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga and join President Uhuru Kenyatta's government as the Prime Minister.
Prof Ngunyi in his weekly show, the Fifth Estate noted that there would be sabotage in NASA after they lose the August elections and Kalonzo would engineer the destruction of the coalition.
"We submit that there is sabotage in NASA and the squad leader is Kalonzo Musyoka.
"In our view, Kalonzo accepted the NASA deputy flagbearer position with bitterness because he had a plan B," the Prof stated.
In his hypothesis, the analyst explains that if violence occurs after the August elections, Kalonzo, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi, and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula will all ditch Raila and portray as a war monger and accept positions in the Jubilee government.
"In our view, Kalonzo will declare Raila a war monger and abandon him. Wetangula and Mudavadi will follow him leaving Raila standing alone," Ngunyi stated.
The analyst notes that the main reason why Kalonzo would sabotage Raila is so that he becomes Prime Minister a position that would have otherwise been occupied by the former premier.
The Prof further notes that a coalition government can be formed to isolate Raila where Kalonzo, Mudavadi, and Wetangula will join Uhuru's team terming it as Kalonzo's scheme.
