New Study Shows Vehicle Brands Most Kenyans are Buying

A recent Cheki DF Automotive Report has revealed the top 10 vehicle brands that the over 1.3 million Kenyan car owners are most interested in as analysed over the last three months.

According to data from the survey, the top brand was Toyota which was closely followed by the Mercedes Benz German machines.

A surprising jump was registered by the BMW make that rose three places to position three.

The data collected from Cheki.co.ke placed Nissan at position four, followed by Land Rover range of cars which recorded a significant drop in sales from those recorded during the last quarter of 2016.

Subaru and Volkswagen also registered a rise in the number of sales making them position six and seven respectively.

Car buyers showed little interest in the Mitsubishi model as indicated by the drop in sales numbers, However, Honda and Audi held steady at position nine and ten respectively.

The key factors that Kenyans seemed to consider when buying cars were body type, vehicle age, engine capacity and mileage.
