Embu County MCA Aspirant Morris Nyaga Collapses During Campaign Rally

Jubilee Party Embu County MCA aspirant Morris Nyaga popularly known as Collo collapsed during a campaign rally after he was hit with a microphone by a supporter of his rival.

According to Narc Kenya aspirant Kenneth Muturi Nyaga,  he was addressing supporters when a group of about 10 people, who were carrying posters of a rival, started shouting them down.

An agitated man then emerged from the crowd, snatched the microphone and hit him on his forehead.

Nyaga was rushed to Embu Children’s Hospital following the incident.

The hospital’s CEO Jim Njamiu stated that Mr Nyaga had suffered from High Blood Pressure (HBP).

Dr Njamiu however assured that the politician was out of danger.

The MCA aspirant was later transferred to the Karira Mission Hospital in Kirinyaga County for further treatment.

Nyaga supporters flocked the hospital and urged police to quickly investigate the matter and apprehend the culprits.

Embu West Police Commander Francis Sang stated he was not aware of the matter but urged politicians to restrain their followers.
