President Uhuru Kenyatta Takes Senator Keg During the Launch of EABL Plant in Kisumu

President Uhuru Kenyatta excited Kenyans on Wednesday after taking a glass of Senator Keg beer in Kisumu.

The President took the glass during the launch of the East African Breweries Limited (EABL) plant in the town.

After opening the plant, President Kenyatta was offered half a glass of the beer only for him to order for a full mug of the drink.

"Hiyo ni kidogo sana ongeza (that is too little add some more)," he stated.

The President paid handsomely for the service.

He was accompanied by DP William Ruto, CSs Charles Keter (Energy) and Adan Mohammed (Industrialisation).

Earlier on, President Kenyatta had announced plans to re-launch the company where he praised EABL for introducing Senator Keg.

He said the beer was safe and affordable and had helped the government fight the menace of illicit brews.

“This year, Treasury has done its part by introducing an 80percentt remission for beers made from sorghum, millet, and cassava.

“Quality brews such as Senator Keg will remain affordable for wananchi and the makers and sellers of illicit brews will find life ever harder,” he stated.
