Kitui County Voters have mercilessly beaten up a county official who was allegedly caught buying votes.
Mr Gitonga Nkuda is accused of buying votes in favor of incumbent Governor Julius Malombe.
He has since been taken into police custody.
In a separate incident, another county government official attached to the finance dept was arrested on voter bribery allegations.
The official's Cash and staff ID were confiscated.
The officials bring the number of arrested county staff to four after Silas Rotich of Elgeyo Marakwet and Bomet County official Alex Kirui were also arrested earlier.
