A man aged 64 collapsed and died on Tuesday shortly after voting in Nyando, Kisumu County.
Mr Patrick Odoyo, who was the fifth person to vote, collapsed at Lela polling station in Kobura Ward and was rushed to Ahero Sub-county hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His body has since been taken to the hospital's mortuary.
It is still not clear what caused Odoyo to collapse and die.
Elsewhere, four women are also reported to have collapsed at Supaloaf Primary School in Embakasi West.
The four are, however, doing fine.
Meanwhile, a woman is reported to have given birth at a polling station in Konyao Mixed Secondary School in Kapchok, Pokot North.
The baby girl has been named Chepkura as she was born during elections.
In Dandora, a man turned up under life support to vote.
