Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has created a heated debate online after he posted a tweet querying NASA's allegations that the IEBC system had been hacked.
Responding to claims by NASA that hackers gained entry into the IEBC system on Tuesday at around 12.40pm, Ngunyi posted a tweet asking whether NASA had hacked the IEBC system, and killed the late IEBC Manager Chris Msando.
"Did NASA hack the IEBC database? Did they kill MUSANDO for this MOMENT? Their speedy and DETAILED statement sounds PRE-MEDITATED," Ngunyi tweeted.

Earlier on, Opposition Leader Raila Odinga who was speaking in Westlands, stated that hackers accessed the IEBC system through passwords that were obtained from the late Msando.
According to Odinga, records indicate that the system was accessed by Msando, IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and an unidentified third person.
The opposition leader revealed that the hackers created errors in the document that had presidential votes.
"They loaded an algorithm that created a constant gap of 11% (between Uhuru and Raila)...they also introduced programs that can manipulate data.
"We have sufficient proof that they effectively disabled the system from detecting date and time thus they were able to add and delete data.
"What IEBC has posted as results on the presidential election is a fraud," revealed Odinga.
Ngunyi's tweet elicited a lot of reactions with some users supporting his sentiments while others attacked him.
Here are some reactions:
For free & fair elections in Kenya, Raila should be the Presiding officer and also the only candidate, and the winner too

You are right. May be they log in under Chris Msando's log in. It takes a hacker to know 1.

Provided the system was hacked by any of the parties, the results are not authentic. How can a teacher allow students mark their papers?
