IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati Recalls Details of IEBC Manager Chris Msando's Time at IEBC

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati has revealed three interesting about the commission's slain Manager Chris Msando.

Speaking during Msando's requiem mass at Consolata Shrine in Westlands, Nairobi, Chebukati stated that Msando had great knowledge in ICT infrastructure.

"He was determined to give Kenyans free and fair elections. We greatly missed Chris during this electioneering process but to his your memory we upheld what he lived for,” Chebukati stated.

The IEBC Chairman also highlighted Msando's commitment noting that the deceased always reported to the IEBC offices at 6 am and never left before 10 pm.

"Chris was a very good father and the time he didn't spend with his family he spent it committed to IEBC," the IEBC Boss expressed.

Chebukati further stated that honesty, humility, and integrity were virtues that were synonymous with Mr Msando.

"He was friendly and respective to all irrespective of their status," Chebukati highlighted.

Chebukati expressed his condolences to Msando'sfamily stating: "I pray that the angels will always be with you."

He further asked the police to conclude investigations quickly so that everyone would have closure over the issue.

Chebukati's words were reiterated by IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba who stated that God would deliver justice for Msando.

Msando will be buried on Saturday at Lifunga Kobiero Village in Siaya County.
