A National Super Alliance (NASA) supporter has resigned from his job to create more time to campaign for NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka.
In a resignation letter dated 1st September, a man identified as David Manali Wanjala quit his position from Crystal Valuers Limited.
"This is my personal decision and that of my family so that I can get enough time to campaign for the right honorable Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka in the much expected presidential election." part of the letter read.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Mr Wanjala confirmed his resignation from the company noting that he would join NASA campaigns in Bungoma county.
He assured that he decided to dedicate all his time to ensure that Mr Odinga is declared the fifth president of Kenya.
"I have to resign to make sure that we do not see a repeat of the previous elections. I cannot let work interfere with the campaigns," he stated.
In his letter, he gave his employer a one-week notice noting that his last working date will be 5th September 2017.
He went ahead to thank the company for the professional and personal development they had provided him during his three years stay in business.
