Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria Reveals 1st Motion He Will Table in Parliament on Supreme Court

Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria has announced the two first motions he will table in the 12th Parliament.

Through his Facebook account, Kuria announced that he would propose for the Supreme Court to be restricted on how it can annul a presidential poll.

According to the MP, he will seek legislation to ensure the Court will require a minimum of five judges to overturn results.

The MP further divulged that he would propose an end to the electronic transmission of results.

“We count all votes at the constituency level and declare them there,” Kuria stated.

He expressed confidence that he would get the support of two-thirds majority which translates to 233 members on the two motions.

The statement sparked anger among netizens with some asking him to focus on more important things than attacking National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.
