Supreme Court Judge 'Goes Missing' Ahead of Full Judgement on Raila's Petition

Supreme Court Judge Smokin Wanjala will not be present as the highest court in the land delivers the much awaited full judgment on the nullified August 8th Presidential election.

According to Chief Justice David Maraga, the Justice Wanjala traveled out of the country today morning but had already signed the majority judgment.

Reports indicate that Justice Wanjala traveled to London to attend a graduation ceremony.

Wanjala was among the four Judges who ruled to annul President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory.

Justice Mohammed Ibrahim is also absent from the bench since he was ill when the other Judges submitted their verdict.

The absence of the two leave the bench with five judges; Justices Maraga, Isaac Lenaola, Jackton Ojwang and Lady Justices Philomena Mwilu and Njoki Ndung'u

The full judgment is expected to explain in detail why the Court nullified the re-election of President Kenyatta.
