Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has revealed that the Supreme Court is plotting with NASA leader Raila Odinga to kick out President Uhuru Kenyatta under the caretaker government.
In his weekly show, the Fifth Estate, Prof Ngunyi and his Fort Hall School of Government team explained that after IEBC aborts the election, the 2nd phase of the civilian coup will kick in.
The team elucidated that Opposition leader would return to the Supreme Court where he would push for Kenyatta to handover power to Speaker Justin Muturi.
"Raila will return to the Supreme Court, and his prayers will include that your mandate expires on November 1 and hand over power to caretaker president called Justin Muturi.
"If the Judges are still angry because you called them "wakoras" and they are prepared to pay the ultimate price including death, how do you think they will rule? In our view, the Supreme Court will complete the Maraga coup by forming the caretaker government without you. That is the plot," they opined.
The team further questioned if the Chief Justice David Maraga would swear-in President Kenyatta if he won the October 26th election.
"Martha Karua has filed a petition to nullify the entire elections. If the High Court upholds her request, Speaker Justice Justin Muturi who will be the President of the Caretaker Government will also have to go home," they conveyed.
This they inferred would lead to a crisis "adding that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong."
Prof Ngunyi advocated for President Uhuru Kenyatta to break Maraga's rulings which degenerate into bad law to avoid a scenario where the country will be forced to hold elections in January 2018.
"If Maraga's ruling degenerate into bad law, Uhuru must break them unapologetically in the name of the sovereign will of the people," He maintained.
