Kalonzo Reveals Jubilee's Wicked Plan to Stop Elections

National Super Alliance (NASA) Principal Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed that Jubilee is planning to stop the repeat elections by putting the lives of the NASA principals in danger.

Speaking on Saturday during a burial ceremony at Kyamalutu Primary School in Kitui County, the Wiper Party leader disclosed that the withdrawal of his and Raila Odinga's security was paving the way for physical harm to befall the opposition leaders.

Mr Kalonzo stated that Jubilee was plotting to stall the repeat poll while banking on the Constitutional clause that says elections must be stopped if any of the presidential candidates or running mates dies.

"Withdrawing the security of presidential candidates both mobile and from their residences in the middle of charged election campaigns proves that the ruling Jubilee regime is on a mischievous agenda.

"Why expose the NASA candidates if you mean well for the leaders affected and the country?" he posed.

He added that two more police officers attached to accompany him during campaigns were Saturday morning ordered back to their stations.

The Wiper leader further stated that reforms being agitated by Jubilee were not in the best interest of the country and were meant to hoodwink Kenyans into believing there are meaningful changes being done in readiness for the election.

"Whatever Chebukati announced are just but cosmetics, they have already set systems for rigging the elections, none of our demands have been addressed," Kalonzo conveyed.

The NASA presidential running mate was accompanied by Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Makueni's Kivutha Kibwana and Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua.

On his part, Governor Kibwana assured that the Kamba community was fully behind the former Vice President and would deliver 100 percent of the vote to NASA.

The sentiments were also shared by Ms Ngilu and Senator Wambua.

In September, the police officers assigned to the opposition leaders were reportedly recalled and told to hand over their police radios so that they could not monitor police communication.
