National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has finally revealed what happened to the money raised by Kenyans through the Mpesa pay bill number to fund NASA campaigns.
The former Prime Minister on Wednesday stated that the money collected by Kenyans had already been used in the various activities conducted by the Coalition including campaigns and meetings.
Confirming that there will be no refund to the donors, the NASA leader stated that the coalition was not a bank arguing that all the money was being spent as it was being received.
He also questioned the demand for the refund claiming that supporters sending the money were doing so out of their own will.
"We were using the money as it came, and so we cannot say that we will refund the money. In fact, some Kenyans are still sending money," he stated in an interview with Radio Jambo.

Some of the money, he indicated is being used for campaigns by NASA supporters in various parts of the country including the 'Mama Ngina drive' which is scheduled to take place this Sunday in Mombasa.
Speaking during the interview which was the first after his withdrawal from the presidential race, he clarified that his exit does not mean he will not vie for Presidency.
"We have not withdrawn from the race we only want the IEBC to be cleaned up before we can now have confidence in the IEBC," he stated.
He further maintained the coalition's stand that it would not participate in the election until its irreducible minimums are met.
Following his withdrawal from the race on Tuesday, Kenyans staged an outcry on social media demanding a refund of the money they had contributed to fund NASA campaigns.
