Led by Siaya Senator James Orengo, the NASA leaders noted that they will not recognize President Kenyatta’s victory adding that the repeat presidential elections were not credible and did not meet the required standards.

Addressing the public at Athi River town in Mavoko, Machakos County, the politicians maintained that Mr Odinga remained the people's president adding that they would shock President Kenyatta if he was declared the winner.

"We will shock them. They will know that you can have power and the guns, but you cannot rule over a people that have refused to obey your leadership.

"We will use August 8 results to swear NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga if Uhuru Kenyatta tries to use October 26 poll results to be sworn in,” Orengo stated.
