Raphael Tuju Reveals How NASA Supporters Planned to Beat Up Journalists [VIDEO]

Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has revealed how National Super Alliance planned to beat up journalists who had gone to Wiper Headquarters to cover Raila Odinga's big announcement.

Speaking during an interview on KTN on Tuesday,  Mr Tuju stated he was glad the incident happened in Nairobi in the full view of the cameras to expose how journalists were intimidated in NASA strongholds.

"They were targetted by men in black. There is a command structure of the militia who roughed up journalists today," he disclosed.

He further stated that the journalists had nothing to worry about when questioned if NASA would retaliate for the negative publicity that had resulted from the incident.

"There are a number of journalists who are so intimidated by NASA in Kisumu, Homa Bay and other parts of Kenya.

"Media practitioners are so scared of NASA's operation. I am sure nothing is going to happen," he assured.

Mr Tuju called for the opposition coalition to seek professional help for their tempers.

"My brothers and sisters in NASA have a lot of bitterness. There is need for counseling and anger management skills," he stated.

He highlighted the hypocrisy by the opposition coalition where they claimed that the low numbers in the repeat election proved President Uhuru Kenyatta had not legitimately won the election which was in contradiction to the August 8 elections where they declared that the process mattered more than the numbers.

"NASA previously said that the numbers don't matter. I don't care whether it was one or two million people who voted. The way the game is played is about the number of votes cast.

"We don't accept that every time Raila loses we have to revisit the Constitution to look for a way of tweaking it," he stated.
