Ababu Namwamba’s Suspicious Activities in Jubilee Exposed

Lugari MP Ayub Savula has revealed what he claims are former Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba’s suspicious activities inside the Jubilee Party.

On Tuesday, Savula stated that Mr Namwamba was using his organisation, the Professional Council of Kenya, to beg for jobs from Jubilee.

Savula further accused Namwamba of purporting to speak on behalf of the Luhya community with an aim of begging for a government job.

He noted that Namwamba lost his seat after he shifted his allegiance to President Uhuru Kenyatta because he was originally a creation of NASA leader Raila Odinga.

"What is this amorphous council? Who are these professionals? What are their goals? We're professionals but we aren’t aware of the group," Savula who was referring to the Professional Council of Kenya stated.

"He should recognise the fact that the country is torn in the middle and needs healing and not childish activism," he added.

Namwamba defected from the Orange Democratic Movement in 2016 after differing with the Party's leaders.

The lawmaker further attributed his frustrations in ODM to his interest in becoming the party's Secretary General.

He accused the ODM leader of betraying him despite assuring him support when he showed interest in the position.

The Labour Party of Kenya (LPK) leader later vowed to support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid.
