National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga on Saturday revealed that he was given Sh25 Billion by people linked to Jubilee party to retire from politics.
“Somebody came to me with Sh3 billion to retire. He later increased the figure to Sh5 billion, later Sh10 billion and finally to Sh25 billion. But I refused the offer the way Jesus mocked the devil with his temptation,” he noted, adding that similar attempts had been made on Mr Mudavadi.
Speaking to NASA MPs in a closed meeting, the Opposition leader noted that this was part of President Uhuru Kenyatta's party to destabilize his coalition by targeting its leaders.
He also noted that Jubilee was plotting to entice opposition MPs and the senior coalition leaders with the promise of appointments to huge positions in government.

According to the NASA leader, the elaborate plan targets NASA leaders including Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.
He revealed that Kalonzo, who has been off the political scene, was also undergoing similar problems.
“They will then dangle a position in the cabinet and after that raid Wiper to ensure his MPs cross over to Jubilee Party because they aim to create a single party state and eventually remove presidential term limits," Odinga stated.
The ultimate aim of the plan, according to Mr Odinga was to isolate each of the NASA leaders and weaken the constituent parties in the coalition to boost Jubilee's dominance.

“They will tell you Kenya does not need multipartyism and use threats on those who refuse the offer.
"The government has increasingly grown uncomfortable with the rise of a resistance movement and had concluded that the only way out was to neutralize the situation," he stated.
