President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Wednesday given a new directive regarding a Supreme Court official who is allegedly responsible for the nullification of the August 8 presidential election.
Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo has called for the President to establish a Commission of inquiry to probe Supreme Court Registrar Esther Nyaiyaki.
The Jubilee MP has called for the investigation on the conduct of the judicial officer during the presidential petition.
According to Njomo, Ms Nyaiyaki could have misled the majority judges by altering forms submitted by IEBC to annul the presidential election.

"She may have misled the majority Supreme Court judges to nullify the elections by altering the forms," he stated.
The MP indicated that the President should look into the matter since the efforts by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to probe the judicial officer may have been fruitless.
Pursuant to the Constitution, the MP wants the President to establish the commission of inquiry to extensively probe the matter.
"The investigation should find out whether there was any misconduct by the Judicial officer that could have affected the final verdict," he noted.
The Kiambu town MP noted that the majority judgment relied on a report by the registrar on the scrutiny of forms used to declare results.

He argued that the report disclosed various discrepancies between the results declared in Forms 34A and 34B from various polling stations across the country.
