Kalonzo’s Team Issues New Statement on Rejecting NASA Plans

Kalonzo Musyoka-led Wiper Party has disowned a letter claiming that it does not support the resistance and boycott called by the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Speaking during a press conference on Thursday, Wiper Organising Secretary Robert Mbui dismissed the letter stating that they were still supporting the Opposition’s activities.

Wiper leaders termed the move as a divide and rule tactic used in previous years noting that it would not work.

The leaders accused Jubilee of using 'political rejects' from the Kamba community to try and create discord within the Party and in the community.

Wiper leaders who were present include Woman Reps Kasalwa Irene (Kitui) and Rose Museu (Makueni), MPs Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Charles Nguna (Mwingi West), Paul Nzengu (Mwingi North), Joshua Mwaliyo (Masinga) among others.

“Jubilee has resorted to fabricating lies in its van attempt to portray to gullible Kenyans the non-existent divisions in the National Super Alliance Coalition (NASA),” Mbui stated.

“We warn those losers to stop purporting to speak on behalf of the community since they were rejected by the very same people they claim to represent,” he added.

The letter which was doing rounds on social media claimed that Wiper had distanced itself from NASA’s call for the boycott of products from various companies.

It bore the name of NASA Executive Director Jared Siso.

The fake letter came amid growing concerns over the absence of Mr Musyoka from NASA functions.
