The wife of a Nyandarua Government official was murdered and her body dumped a few meters from the county assembly offices.
The body of the deceased was discovered on Thursday evening.
Nyandarua Central police boss Wilson Kosgei confirmed this tragedy adding that the body was found in an overgrown thicket along Ol Kalou-Gilgil road, approximately 300 meters from the Assembly.
Preliminary investigations indicate that she was killed elsewhere before being dumped on the road a few meters from the assembly.
"The location where the body was found is scene number two; we have not located scene number one, it must have been the actual place of murder," Mr Kosgei noted.

According to the Police boss, the incident was entirely a murder, arguing that there was blood oozing from the mouth and the nose.
"It appears there was pressure from the back of her eyes and she also had swollen eyes and marks of massive pressure on the face," she noted.
The Police further noted that the postmortem results would provide more results together with her phone once it is traced.
Rurii MCA, Wahome Kamoche also stated that:" Whoever murdered her, must have been well prepared to do it."

Area residents have called on the Police to probe the killing to ensure justice for the victim.
