25 Members of County Assembly (MCAs) from Trans Nzoia County have been arrested by officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) over corruption allegations.
EACC detectives raided the Trans Nzoia Assembly on Monday morning and picked up the County legislators.
"They will be taken to court because investigations are complete," EACC coordinator for North Rift Enock Otiko stated.
The MCAS are said to have embezzled over Sh1.8 Million in false claims of allowances.
The County legislators will be arraigned in an Eldoret Court today.
