Renowned political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi on Sunday called for the arrest of Opposition Leader Raila Odinga for allegedly inciting people into violence.
In his weekly show the Fifth Estate, the Prof and his team accused the former Prime Minister of inciting youth into violence leading to deaths and injuries.
"Raila should be arrested. This man displayed pictures of dead people in the papers and blamed the government for killing them yet he is the one who incited them to violence," Ngunyi stated.
Regarding claims that the Opposition Leader would swear himself in, the team explained that if the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader pulls such a move he would be arrested and charged with treason.
"Mr Odinga, if you swear yourself in on Tuesday you will become a direct military target. You will be arrested before the Head of States attending Uhuru's inauguration ceremony leave the country.

"You will have nowhere to run and will be an international criminal," the team submitted.
Prof Ngunyi, however, explained that the former Prime Minister was a coward and could not move on with the plan to swear himself in as the President of Kenya.
"Raila will not swear himself in. He is just pulling a prank on us. Raila is a coward," he submitted.
The team further submitted that the Opposition Chief had been set up to fail and bring an end to his political career so that his place could be inherited.

"The Luo resistance is not about, it is about succession. They set you up for failure to disinherit the Odinga legacy," the Fort Hall school of government scholars stated.
