What Miguna Miguna Wants Raila to do Next

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has called for the National Super Alliance (NASA) leadership to delink the NASA coalition and the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

In a tweet, Miguna declared that NASA should engage in dialogue with other players while NRM focuses on 'the revolution'.

The self-declared NRM General took to social media on Sunday to urge his followers to back the proposed move.

He stated: "To Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka: The time to delink NRM and NASA is now.

"Let NASA pursue dialogue as NRM leads the revolution. Those in support shout  'Aye!'" Miguna declared.

He made the announcement after it emerged that the highly-anticipated swearing-in of Odinga, that was to take place on 12 December, had been postponed.

NASA launched NRM as it's official resistance wing and stated that it would facilitate civil disobedience towards what they consider an illegitimate President Uhuru Kenyatta-led administration.

14 counties had passed the People's Assembly motion sponsored by NASA. The People's Assembly was to be an organ composed of elected and non-elected leaders meant to establish a roadmap to electoral justice.

The swearing-in of Odinga as the People's President was supposed to serve as the launch of the People's Assembly.

The coalition has, however, maintained that the swearing-in was postponed and not cancelled.
