Moses Kuria's Message to Media 8 Months After Being Banned

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Tuesday sent a message to the media, months after being banned by mainstream TV stations.

Kuria stated that he was still going strong and even feels liberated after the ban.

"Celebrating 8 months anniversary since I was banned by all mainstream TV stations. Still going strong.

"Feeling liberated even. Keep it real," wrote the lawmaker on his Facebook page.

Kuria has had his fair share of friction with members of the press as in April 2017, he hurled abusive words during an interview with an NTV journalist.

The legislator accused the media of blaming him for every wrong thing that was happening in Gatundu.

"I am tired of the stupid media. Everything wrong that happens in this country is blamed on Moses Kuria," he ranted.

He went ahead to hurl the f*** word before walking out on the reporter.

In August, NTV news anchor Larry Madowo banned the MP from all his shows for lack of respect to the press and politicians.

Madowo took to his Twitter account to break the news after one of his followers asked him to invite Lawyer Miguna Miguna and Kuria on one show.

The celebrated news anchor said he would not welcome Mr Kuria to any of his shows as he lacks respect.
