President Uhuru Kenyatta's former advisor, Joshua Kuttuny, on Tuesday expressed his concerns on why Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa should not be dropped from the Cabinet.
According to the Cherangany Member of Parliament, CS Wamalwa was among other Jubilee Party officials who played a key role in ensuring Mr Kenyatta is re-elected during the August and October election.
"Leaving him out in the cold will paint a bad picture. I diligently worked with Wamalwa during Jubilee campaigns and delivered for our President.
"There is actually need for him to be awarded the CS position so people of Trans Nzoia can be happy," he stated in an interview with The Star.

The Cherangany legislator explained that Mr Wamalwa should be rewarded with a position as the Water or Agriculture Cabinet Secretary.
Mr Kuttuny indicated that the CS should be given another chance to serve the people of Trans Nzoia, whom he noted experience water and agricultural related problems.
"There is still need for Trans Nzoia to have a Cabinet Secretary who can observe and implement government policies and help address water and agricultural problems the county's residents and farmers face.
"Our farmers have problems with prices of maize and other produce. Getting an agriculture minister will help solve such difficulties." he conveyed.
Mr Wamalwa is among the 13 Cabinet Secretaries who were not named in President Kenyatta's first batch of the Cabinet.
