Moses Kuria Names The Man Who Should Succeed Raila

NASA leader Raila Odinga took the oath as the 'people's President' on Tuesday at Uhuru Park but Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has revealed that the man best qualified to lead the Opposition is Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo.

Kuria stated that 'greatness was thrust at his feet' and it was Amollo's moment to lead the Luo people.

"Dear Otiende Amollo. This is your moment. Seize it. Lead the Luo people out of bondage.

"I know for me saying this they will brand you a mole. But greatness was thrust at your feet at Uhuru Park today. Thank me later," stated Kuria on his Facebook page.

The swearing-in ceremony went ahead without any confrontation after police were ordered to withdraw.

Interestingly, Odinga made a brief speech after the 'oath' and left a few minutes later.

Amollo took to his Twitter account to commend the crowd for steering clear of violence, aiming a dig at police who often 'provoke them.'

"Today over a Million Kenyans showed how Peaceful Meetings Can Be Without Interruption & Provocation By the Police!!" he remarked.

His sentiments were echoed by former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale who expressed his pride at how the crowd conducted themselves.

"Today will go down in history for many good reasons, significant among them being that, if left unprovoked by the police our people are extremely peaceful.

"Guys, you've made us proud by remaining calm," stated Khalwale.
