Boniface Mwangi and Kipchumba Murkomen Engage in Twitter Fight

Senate Majority leader, Kipchumba Murkomen, and award-winning photojournalist, Boniface Mwangi, on Friday engaged in a heated Twitter fight.

The exchange started when the controversial activist responded to Murkomen's attack on Chief Justice David Maraga, who issued a statement warning both government officials and private citizens who disobey court that it's a violation of the Constitution.

“Compliance with court orders is not an option for any individual or institution. Neither is it a favor to be doled out to the Judiciary… All state officers take an oath of office to protect and uphold the Constitution.

"To disobey a court order is not only a violation of the Constitution but also a dereliction of public duty,” read part of Maraga’s statement.

Murkomen lashed on Maraga stating that he was interfering with judicial independence.

In his response, the former parliamentary aspirant noted that Murkomen was always only in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Following this, the lawyer highlighted that Mwangi was just bitter for being "uncivilized and lacks intellectual capacity."

However, the photo-journalist called out the Senator claiming that he is a "thief" as he was part of the Sh1.6 Billion National Youth Service scandal.

Kenyans did not take that lightly as they trolled the former Starehe parliamentary aspirant.
