DP Ruto's Secret Sh3.5B Deal With Police - David Ndii Exposes

National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist David Ndii has shared a document alleging that Deputy President William Ruto was paid Sh3.5 Billion from the police service as part of a questionable property transfer.

Ndii posted the document in response to a tweet from President Uhuru Kenyatta warning accounting officers in Government ministries that wastage of public resources would not be tolerated.

The document claims that DP Ruto secretly sold Easton Apartments, located along Jogoo Road near Madaraka to the police service for Sh3.5 Billion.

It further alleged that the apartments had been registered under the name Somog Limited.

The previous tenants are claimed to have been hit with a notice from the managing agent, Legend Management, to vacate the premises by December 31, 2017.

The building was said to be vacant with officers expected to be allocated houses after the Government released all payments.

Questions were raised over whether the property transfer was done in accordance with the law.

The document read in part: "Were the procurement procedures adhered to by the Government to buy the property?"

It also questioned whether there was any conflict of interest and whether the land was acquired legally.

"Is the DP trying to void investigation of the property by trying to dispose it off to Government?" it posed.
