A photo of a Chinese woman looking for a ride along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway is making rounds on social media.
In the undated photo, the lady is pictured holding up a placard reading 'Naivasha-Nakuru.'
Some of those who shared the photo claimed that the lady who seemed stranded was seeking a ride to either of the two towns.
It is unclear whether anyone stopped to offer the stranded woman a lift to her destination.
Here is the photo:

This is not the first time, such scenes have been witnessed in the country.
Earlier in August, Nairobi residents were treated to a rare spectacle when a young woman advertised her urgent need to get a husband.
28-year-old Priscilla Nyambura, accompanied by her 7-year-old daughter, walked around the CBD holding a placard notifying all who cared to read that they were in need of a male figure in their home.
To show how ready she was for marriage, Ms Nyambura even put on a gown in readiness for any man who would be ready to take on the nuptials.

In addition, Kenyans seeking jobs have gone out of their way to hold placards in high traffic areas showcasing their qualifications.
In 2016, Patrick Muthomi, a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (accounting option) from Chuka University went around the streets with a placard advertising his academic credentials.
Kenyans.co.ke sought to find out if his fortunes changed after his daring move but he disclosed that he was currently unemployed even though he did get a job from his initial advertising.
"I quit the job because it wasn't paying well. Now I am not working but I am hopeful I will get a job soon," he told Kenyans.co.ke on the phone.
