President Uhuru Kenyatta's niece, Nana Gecaga, hired a private jet for her guests to be ferried to Malindi for her 40th birthday celebrations.
An elated Nana Gecaga share photos of the event on her social media pages noting that: "You only turn 40 once."
The exclusive guest list was inclusive of prominent political figures and closely knit members of the Kenyatta family.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was one of the those invited and he supplied t-shirts bearing the theme "Keep Calm its Nana's Birthday".

President Kenyatta's firstborn son Jomo Kenyatta and the President's Personal Assistant and nephew Jomo Gecaga also graced the all-white birthday bash.
Ms Gecaga also shared the photo of a designer Ksh218,000 pair of shoes that she had received as a gift without revealing who had given them.
"You only turn 40 once and my goodness look at these beautiful Giuseppe Zanotti (Cruel Crystal Sandals) I got as a birthday gift every girl's dream...they complete my birthday outfit for tonight. Thank you so much," she captioned the post.
Nana is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.
