Churchill Raw Comedian MC Jessy Accepts Challenge to Cycle 300 KM from Nairobi to Meru County

Churchill Raw comedian MC Jessy has accepted a challenge to cycle 300 Km from Nairobi to Meru in an initiative to supply life-saving machines to public hospitals in Meru county.

Through his social media, MC Jessy announced that he was taking up the noble course to help give out five Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machines to his home county's medical institutions.

“Mortality rate due to a sudden cardiac arrest in Meru county is very high, therefore this initiative is aimed at reducing it by donating AED machines in public hospitals which will help the patients to get back to rhythm after a sudden cardiac arrest.

“I will be cycling 300km from Nairobi to Meru, on the 5th of April 2018 in an initiative dubbed #TourDeMeru," he wrote.

He further revealed that in preparation for the big day, he was cycling 50-60 Km daily and showed how people who are interested could join him.

"If interested in the daily challenge, hit my inbox so that we can cycle for 2hrs or just show up with your bike on of 5th April at KICC where we will be flagged off.

"You can cycle up to Museum Hill and get done for the day as we proceed to Meru," he stated.

This is certainly the most extreme venture that the comedian had taken up in the recent months.

Earlier on in September, together with Carol Nkirote Thuranira Pulei, the woman who designed President Uhuru Kenyatta's famous shirt during Jubilee Party's National Delegates Convention, MC Jessy surprised Igembe South MP John Mwirigi with an extreme make-over.

MC Jessy stated that he and his friends took it upon themselves to dress up the young legislator to give him a look worthy of his status.

Mr Mwirigi has often been seen in a grey sweater that has seen better days but was pleasantly surprised when he was given the chance to choose his preferred suit from an array of top quality samples.
