Suspected Robbers Shot Dead in Umoja Area

Three people alleged to be robbers were killed on Saturday in Nairobi's Umoja 3, area.

According to police reports, the trio had been asked to surrender but they opted to fire at the officers, prompting retaliation in the incident.

The police further claimed that the three suspects were complices of three other suspects who had been arrested earlier and led them to the slain thugs.

A report filed at the Buru Buru division of Dandora police station, states that the three had been with a group that stole a civilian's firearm in Lang'ata.
