With Sasa, Kenyans would be able to give commands using Kiswahili and Sheng as it comes with an intelligent algorithm that studies and learns your accentuations, so it can understand the way you naturally pronounce words.

Every purchase of the device would also come with a free 50" television set.

Kenyans were excited by the news with some already asking how much it would retail at.

"For real? How much will it be retailing at?" one user asked.

A techie was already thinking of ways he could modify the product once purchased

"Great. I hope it's open source. People like us wanna buy it to add our own code. I have built several bots," he stated.

However, at midday, Safaricom clarified that it was a prank clarifying that the device was not real.

Another publication stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta had appointed Raila Odinga as the new vice president moving Deputy President William Ruto to the Ministry of Defence.
