National Resistance Movement (NRM-K) self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna on Wednesday criticised President Uhuru Kenyatta over his apology to Kenyans issued during his State of the Nation address.
According to the Canada-based barrister, the Head of State was not genuine in his apology as it was conditional, based on how he phrased his apology statement.
Posting on his Facebook page, Miguna noted: "Any APOLOGY prefaced by "if" is QUALIFIED and CONDITIONAL. Kenyans demand and deserve AN UNCONDITIONAL APOLOGY: For stealing the 2017 elections; killing and maiming thousands of Kenyans."

The outspoken lawyer further noted that Kenyans also deserved an apology over his (Miguna's) illegal detention and deportation.
"Kenyans also deserve an apology for brutalising, torturing, detaining, sedating and exiling me. Then we want JUSTICE!" Miguna asserted.
The harsh critique of the Jubilee administration had captioned Uhuru's apology message written on his social media platforms.
The President had exclaimed: "If there was anything I said last year that hurt or wounded you if I damaged the unity of this country in any way, I ask you to forgive me and to join me in repairing that harm #StateOfTheNation #Big4ActionPlan #BuildingBridges."
In his first address to the Parliament since he took office for his second term, Uhuru asked Kenyans and leaders, in particular, that last year they failed in the duty to preserve the unity of this country.
In his view, Uhuru noted that the need to make amends in a bid to Build Bridges is aimed at creating a New Kenyan Nation
His sentiments were welcomed by a majority of leaders with a section of Kenyans having previously demanded a public apology following his handshake with the NASA leader Raila Odinga.
