Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has sent an appeal to the Head of State concerning the president's hand in the purge on government officials linked to corruption cases.
In a statement that caught the NRM-Ke self proclaimed general Miguna Miguna's aye, the senator backed President Uhuru Kenyatta's efforts to fight corruption but urged him to crack the whip further into other sections of his administration.
"President Uhuru keep up the war against corruption. Turn on the heat in every direction; land, maize, NYS, everywhere!!!" reads a tweet from Senator Wetangula.

The statement sparked various reactions given Wetangula's supposed checks on President Uhuru's unity deal with opposition chief Raila Odinga.
Miguna repulsed the Senator's remarks as unrealistic. He rebuffed the calls arguing that corruption dealings are often spawned and protected from the top, while concurrently accusing the Ford Kenya leader of being part of leaders behind the mess that has gripped the country.
The spat comes at a time the head of state has sent home more than 1000 procurement chiefs whom he directed to hand over to their immediate deputies so as to pave way for a deeper strike on corrupt dealings in government.
