Kenyans online were, however, more concerned about the fate of  Miguna Miguna and pleaded with the Head of State to come back home with him.

"Kindly say hi to Miguna and if possible come along with him. Bibilia husema samehe mara sabini  (Even the Bible advocates for forgiveness)" one user recommended.

Another requested: "Ulete ule jamaa Miguna nyumbani please (Please Bring Miguna back home)"

"We beg you to please come back with Miguna Miguna," one Kenyan pleaded.

This is the second G7 summit that President Kenyatta will be addressing.

Last year, President Kenyatta was among the African leaders invited to the G7 summit, which took place at Taormina on the Italian Island of Sicily.

The President will address the summit on issues of the blue economy and the environmental management.

Kenya is among the first African countries to effect the ban on plastics.
