Kitengela Girls High Principal Accused of Beating Up Student's Mother

Police have launched investigations following an incident at Kitengela Girls Secondary School where principal John Kihoro was accused of allegedly beating up a student's mother.

It is reported that Ms Njoki Kibisu went to the school on Saturday evening demanding to take away her daughter on claims that the institution was not taking care of her despite being unwell.

"I want my daughter alive or dead and if you do not open this gate, I will create a scene and post everything on the internet. You never know who you are dealing with until your bad manners are posted in the social media," Kibisu noted as narrated by the school's watchman.

However, the school principal mentioned that the drama did not begin with Ms Kibisu as she had initially sent her elder daughter, Esther Wanjiku, on claims that she arrived at the school drunk.

After she was told to keep off the school, Wanjiku is said to have made several calls and later announced that Kibisu was on her way to school to pick up her daughter.

The school's director further highlighted that before Ms Kibisu arrived, her daughter, who is a form 3 student, had sneaked from the school and ran through the gate before hiding in a nearby kiosk.

"We managed to bring her back to the school but on being questioned, the student refused to speak. She appeared obsessed with something. This is when I called the police, but my several attempts failed and therefore called the area chief," Mr Kihoro affirmed.

Additionally, the school's director divulged that Kibisu injured herself and threatened to post her injured face on social media.

It is also revealed that Ms Kibisu, the student's mother, posted a bloody photo of her face on the Kilimani Mums and Dads Facebook page accusing the principals of "severally" beating her as she attempted to get access to her sick child.

Speaking to journalists, Kitengela OCS Ehpantus Mburu affirmed that the matter was under investigations.

"I am personally following this matter and our findings is a matter of public interests," he directed.
