Atleast 10 people are feared dead following a grisly accident along Nairobi - Naivasha Highway on Tuesday morning.
The accident involving three vehicles has occurred in Kikuyu near Gitaru Stage with intial reports indicating that at least 10 people have been confirmed dead.
The vehicles involved include a bus, a 14-seater matatu belonging to Lina Sacco and a personal car.

Traffic police officers are at the scene trying to clear the huge traffic snurl up that has built up largely affecting the Nairobi bound traffic.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Zack Zion an eye witness at the scene narrated that the accident occured after the 14-seater box van plying the Kikuyu-Nairobi route hit the saloon car from the rear.
The Nairobi bound bus which was allegedly speeding behind the box van hit the two vehicles reducing the matatu into a grisly wreckage and toppling the car on the road.
All the 10 who perished at the scene were onboard the 14-seater matatu with the driver and the tout of the ill-fated matatu said to have escaped unhurt.
Reports indicate that the driver of the car suffered minor injuries although the car was significantly damaged.
The ongoing expansion of sections of Waiyaki Way is suspected to have equally played part given some stretches of the road are operating a single lane.
However, previous reports by relevant authorities have often attributed majority of road accidents to overspeeding and recklessness on part of the drivers.
