A chopper carrying Isiolo Governor Mohamed Kuti, Isiolo North MP Hassan Oda and Isiolo South MP Abdi Koropu has crash-landed at Kiangoma village in Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County.
They were headed to a function in which DP William Ruto is the chief guest in Mogodashe.
The pilot was forced to make the landing due to bad weather, Mukurwe-ini police boss Issa Muhammud revealed.
They all left the landing site in vehicles.
Ruto was scheduled to address a funds drive at Merti as well.

Eye-witnesses stated that there was a lot of fog and this is believed to have led to the mishap.
Police soon arrived and secured the area as a crowd milled around the helicopter.
Also attending an event in Mogodashe was Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris.
She disclosed that she had been invited to the fundraiser by her Isiolo counterpart Rehema Jaldesa.
The drive is meant to raise funds for the construction of a girls' dormitory at Omara Primary School.
