The family of the late Migori Senator Ben Oluoch Okello is mourning the death of his mother Teodora Ayieko.
She passed on after being admitted to St. Joseph Omboo Hospital in Migori on Thursday evening.
ODM Party has consoled with the family through its Twitter.
“May God give the family strength to overcome grief during this trying moment” read the tweet.
She died at the age of over 90 years.
Family member Denis Otieno stated that the family is working on his burial arrangement programme.
The death of the late Teodora comes just a few months after her son succumbed to cancer.
Netizens have sent condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Charles Ogutu tweeted, “We pray with the family at this trying moment very sad to lose two family member in just less than six months.”
